Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for end to end project scoping, planning and execution of projects with budgets between $0.5M to $10M and teams of up to ~15 people including, business analysis, architects, tech leads, test leads, subject matter experts and change managers
  • Facilitate workshop and meetings to ensure projects are managed and delivered to agreed scope, quality, time and budget where outcomes are fit for purpose
  • Build, lead, motivate and manage cross functional delivery teams/functions to meet expected delivery outcomes/commitments
  • Manage and maintain engaging relationship with diverse and multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity of project activities and outcomes
  • Maintain project governance including active monitoring of project RAID logs, resource allocation and future demands
  • Ensure the adherence to project management methodology, governance and assurance practices in accordance with BAE IM&T and PMO standards
  • Prepare business case submissions for internal investment board approval including any re submissions due to change requests, scope changes and reprioritizations
  • Partner with BAE System’s procurements team to execute diligent supplier selection practices that include preparation of tender materials, evaluation of tender responses and negotiation of scope, pricing and delivery timeframes
  • Work closely with DDC Delivery to ensure successful transition to business as usual with associated and a sustainable support model including service roadmap, skills transfer, service asset and configuration details e.g. licenses and budge
