ABOUT US:

Rancan Fertilizer Systems is a leader in the design and construction of agricultural infrastructure across Western Canada, with a strong focus on fertilizer storage and distribution systems. We are expanding and seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager / Estimator to join our team and take ownership of high-value projects from conception to completion.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Manager / Estimator will oversee and manage the full project lifecycle including estimating, planning, execution, and close-out. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing or construction, and who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating in construction, preferably in the agricultural or construction industry
  • Demonstrated experience with fertilizer storage systems is preferred
  • Proficient with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of estimates, bids, and proposals for fertilizer storage construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to define project scopes and timelines
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Perform site visits as needed and oversee construction activities to ensure quality and compliance
  • Serve as the main point of contact with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and project risks; develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and construction standards
  • Travel to job sites as needed across prairie provinces (MB, SK and AB)
