YOUR KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role.
  • A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling software, and project management systems.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build lasting client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to travel periodically within the region, depending on project requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple large-scale commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Drive strategic project planning, including budgets, schedules, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, administration, and risk management.
  • Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships as the primary point of contact.
  • Partner with Site Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient execution and resolution of issues on site.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks while identifying opportunities for efficiency and value.
  • Lead project meetings, provide executive-level updates, and ensure all project documentation is current and accurate.
  • Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
