Would you like to join the leading international intergovernmental organization? The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of medium-scale, business-critical projects with firm deadlines, primarily within the C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) and ICT domains. Operating with significant autonomy, the incumbent will define project approaches, manage all aspects of delivery (scope, time, cost, quality), and ensure projects achieve their intended business impact and customer outcomes. A blend of predictive (plan-driven) and adaptive (Agile) methodologies will be employed to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities: Assume full accountability for the definition, planning, and successful delivery of medium-scale projects with direct business impact. Identify, assess, and manage project risks; ensure realistic project plans are maintained and communicate progress effectively to all stakeholders. Employ appropriate project management methodologies (predictive or agile) and manage the change control process to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed constraints. Provide leadership to project teams and manage performance against agreed tolerances. Define and manage project scope, requirements, and priorities; establish baselines and ensure traceability. Oversee supplier performance and contractual obligations, using KPIs to monitor deliverables and drive continuous improvement. Ensure formal project closure, conduct lessons learned reviews, and provide regular monthly reporting to portfolio management. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Recent experience (at least 3 years) in Service or Project management of C4ISR acquisition and / or development projects for a large organization; Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or other C4ISR systems; Experience in Project Management tools, managing cost and labour; Recent experience (at least three years) and knowledge in the successful project management of ICT projects for a large, preferably international, organization Desirable: •A formal project management qualification such as PRINCE 2 or PMI PMP; •Extensive experience with Project Management Tools; •Experience and certification in Agile Project Management (Agile PM, Scrum); •Experience and certification in Service Management (i.e. ITIL V3 or V4); •Experience in supplier management, negotiations, conflict resolution and contract management; •Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements; •Knowledge and experience with NATO's procurement process forICT projects; •Experience in communicating with senior management and large groups (briefings, written and oral presentations) If you've read the description and feel this role is a great match, we'd love to hear from you!
