Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of projects by ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, stakeholder expectations, and business objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring effective collaboration across teams and organizations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Manage and lead healthcare projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and objectives, providing clear and transparent reporting at all organizational levels.
  • Lead project teams by establishing a clear vision, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, balancing stakeholder priorities to maximize business value.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across healthcare organizations to support change management, adoption, and seamless transition to operations.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IT processes, including infrastructure, security, networks, cloud computing, applications, and system integrations.
  • Experience managing IT and/or healthcare-related projects.
  • Familiarity with HL7 message standards and integrations is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with organizational change management methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to travel as required.
