About the Role Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead medium-to-large scale IT/software projects with a focus on Florida PALM functional activities. The consultant will manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and standards. This position requires strong leadership, stakeholder communication, risk management, and change management skills, with proven success in enterprise-level IT implementations. Key Responsibilities Manage IT/software projects ensuring compliance with schedule, scope, and budget. Coordinate with developers, analysts, and SMEs across multiple program areas. Track project status, manage risks/issues, and escalate as needed. Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project. Facilitate requirements sessions, meetings, and workshops. Deliver status reports, meeting minutes, and executive briefings. Support and implement change management processes. Foster collaboration and maintain strong business partner relationships. Ensure adherence to client project management methodology and standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in IT, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. PMP Certification (mandatory). 2+ years’ experience with Florida PALM functional activities. 5+ years’ IT project management experience with medium-to-large projects. 5+ years managing multiple projects concurrently. Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile). Advanced skills in MS Project for scheduling. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with business intelligence platforms. Knowledge of financial/accounting/ledger systems. Familiarity with large-scale IT implementations. Knowledge of DEP’s technical environment.
