WHO WE ARE

LMG has been at the forefront of innovation within the built environment since 1986.
We deliver integrated smart building technology projects and support services which provide sustainable long-term growth and profitability, as well as diverse range of career opportunities; enabling both our people and our clients’ businesses to flourish, whilst setting a new standard for what is possible in the built environment.
As experts in smart building technology, we want to inspire new ways of thinking, deliver excellence and establish new models for doing business – with people, partners and customers – built on trust and shared values, rather than transactional relationships.
Alongside actively working to support the raising of standards in training and professional qualifications, we invest heavily in the development of our people. We give them access to continuous learning opportunities, leading to the freedom of working autonomously and making their own informed decisions, whilst benefiting from a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of high-value (£5m+), multi-technology smart building projects, spanning ICT cabling, security, networking, AV, BMS and IoT systems and MSI services. This role requires a proven leader capable of overseeing complex, multi-faceted programmes while managing and mentoring a team of Project Managers. With the support of a PMO for governance and reporting functions, the Senior Project Manager will focus on strategic oversight, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
A key part of the role is the effective use of technology-driven platforms, including Monday.com for project tracking and our digital commissioning platform, Exchange IQ for data capture and reporting. These tools not only enhance project delivery but also generate insights to enable ongoing support and maintenance opportunities.
The Senior Project Manager will combine commercial and financial acumen with exceptional technical and operational knowledge to ensure every project meets its performance, budgetary, and quality objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading the delivery of complex, multi-technology projects (£5m+), covering Security, AV, IT, BMS, MSI, and cabling systems.
  • Providing senior leadership and operational input during pre-sales and bid processes, representing delivery teams in client-facing meetings.
  • Defining project methodologies, establishing RACI responsibilities, and leading mobilisation across all technical disciplines.
  • Setting up and maintaining project dashboards, integrated programmes, risk registers, and KPIs in Monday.com for full visibility.
  • Driving the design development process, ensuring scope, contractual, and client requirements are aligned.
  • Establishing and managing project controls, including milestones, cash flows, and application schedules.
  • Taking full ownership of project budgets—forecasting costs, managing contingencies, and implementing value engineering initiatives.
  • Monitoring progress, risks, and opportunities, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Leading change control, ensuring all variations are fully costed, approved, and integrated into project budgets.
  • Overseeing testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring snag-free delivery and transition to maintenance and Day 2 support.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors—acting as the senior point of escalation.
  • Championing health, safety, and compliance on all sites, driving continuous improvement in partnership with SHEQ.
