The project: We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join an ambitious programme of work on an occupied, central Westminster estate. The projects are at different stages of delivery from design through to construction and vary from full fabric refurbishment to infrastructure and MEP upgrades. The estate is highly secure and is home to a diverse mix of technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a lead role delivering a major retrofit and refurbishment project in an existing building, the scope for which includes the provision of a theatre space, security upgrades and wholesale MEP renewal. The candidate will be required to deputise for the project director as and when required. You’ll be responsible for: Managing project tasks and support programme delivery. Providing subject matter expertise across teams. Managing design, consultants and stakeholders. Developing integrated design and delivery programmes. Delivering objectives and manage KPIs. Overseeing risk, budget and quality controls. Managing meetings and ensure compliant handover. Championing digital, sustainability and net‑zero goals. You’ll need to have: Substantial previous work experience in project management (or equivalent). MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS (or working towards) or local equivalent. Tertiary qualifications in related (project management and/or construction related discipline), non-related degree or equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship, combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge. Appropriate construction skills certification scheme (CSCS) card.
