Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AT BAXTER

This Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing role is aligned with our growing $2B+ Pharmaceutical Global Business Unit. The role is an integral part of our Project Management Office at a pivotal sterile injectables manufacturing facility, responsible for leading execution for new product developments, geographic expansions, business development deals and/or on-market product support. The position will provide exposure to cross functional leaders on a global scale.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Uses project management standard processes to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Collaborate with development and commercial teams to develop and launch products at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on time and on budget.
  • Indirectly manages resources and may directly manage resources.
  • Provides clear direction on new products, processes and product development projects to meet expectations of customers and collaborators.
  • Uses communication and negotiation tools to effectively manage multiple project teams and diverse partners among all levels of leadership throughout organization. Adept at communicating and leading in governance settings.
  • Defines project team strategies, goals, implements plans, assigning project tasks and drives to goal attainment.
  • Partners with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality, Production and Supply Chain to meet cross functional team requirements.
  • Proactively identifies and communicates project risks, develops risk plans, and leads risk mitigation and responses.
  • Drives project strategy, schedules, task assignment, resource alignment and financial analysis at the manufacturing site level.
  • Approves team deliverables for project completion.
  • Provides technical support in all phases of product manufacturing. Promotes problem solving with line managers and other manufacturing leaders.
  • Anticipates and resolves conflicts for a positive outcome, effectively raising issues when needed.
  • Motivate, mentor, develop and recognize colleagues on PMO team and across manufacturing site.
