Job Description About the Role Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for various projects. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost. What you'll be doing Manage mid-complexity projects, or mid-complexity work packages in support of higher complexity projects. Provide a proactive decision-support service to project management teams, ensuring that any alternative execution strategies are properly evaluated for cost and schedule impacts. This includes any management of variation orders from clients that will have impact on the project. Able to flag any significant project risks and ensure necessary level of detail to be gathered and disseminated to wider team allowing for an affective review and management of these risks. Coordinate and advise upon the resolution of significant project risks. Working together with the Project Managers, Project Coordinators and PMO to collate and present baseline versus forecasts actual project performance reviews (financial, operational, QHSSE) as per corporate standards. Support Commercial team with input on project planning and execution based on lessons learned and good practices. Oversee the Project Management function across all marine geophysics and hydrography projects within their sphere of influence. Provide Leadership to Project Management teams, ensuring execution strategies are properly evaluated for risk, including but not limited to cost, schedule, quality, safety and other project opportunities and liabilities. Nurture and develop a culture of accountability within the project management team. Provide support when require to the Project Managers and is involved in a supervisory, coaching and mentoring capacity in the daily management of projects; Manage PMT resources planning and distribution of work to suit appropriate levels of competence and project complexity Involvement in the continual improvement processes and a proactive support to implementing various initiatives within the Service Line. Build effective relationships with other personnel of the Project Management function in their region and business line, feed into processes and assist in the development of the Project Management forums and documentation. Provide market intelligence to Service line and RSSM and occasional business development.
