General Summary: The successful experienced Construction Services Project Manager will manage all aspects of a materials engineering project to ensure that it is safely completed on time, in accordance with the client approved scope and budget and within company policies, procedures, and standards. Troubleshoot and recommend or resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Responsible for the preparation of proposals and cost estimates to clients to ensure proper scoping of services, availability of staff, and pricing to achieve desired profitability.    Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for the preparation of proposals and cost estimates. * Manage all aspects of a small to large-sized project. * Design, communicate and implement a project plan for completing the project. * Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project. This may include preparing calculations, designs, reports, and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. * Develop an understanding and be aware of the project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies. * Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices. * Monitor costs and resources in day to day activities. * Plan and implement MC Squared Quality Control system for construction projects. * Review the quality control system regularly and provide feedback for improvement. * Maintain and operate quality control related documentation and ensure quality records are readily retrievable when required and distributed to concerned parties. * Prepare proposals for new projects including pricing and seek to achieve most profitable and competitive edge. * Prepare and deliver monthly quality control report of projects as requested. * Deal with customer complaints and ensure problems are solved appropriately. * Provide customers with advice and recommendation at the beginning of the project concerning proper specifications. * Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.    Education and Related Requirements: * 15+ Years’ experience * Must be able to divide time between the office and field to monitor and support engineering technicians if needed    Preferred Licenses, Registrations or Certifications: * Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed. * ACI, NICET, and Project Management Professional (PMP), a plus
