Description

Full job description

Are you a seasoned leader ready to steer high-impact initiatives within a dynamic, evolving environment? We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our clients team during a pivotal period of organisational growth following a recent M&A integration. If you possess a passion for driving complex projects and shaping strategic business transformation, we want to hear from you immediately. We are committed to an expedited hiring process to identify the right talent to lead our teams toward success.

The Opportunity

In this high-level role, you will be a cornerstone of our project management function, bridging the gap between strategic vision and tactical execution. Reporting to group leadership, you will guide cross-functional teams through complex business restructuring, supply chain optimisations, and new business model implementations. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future trajectory of a leading organisation in the Medical Device and Pharma sector, ensuring our goals are met with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and direct cross-functional project teams to achieve critical objectives within the Medical Device/Pharma industry.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of complex projects, including task development, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Facilitate validation deliverables, ensuring all project documentation meets rigorous quality and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks, developing robust contingency plans.
  • Drive organisational strategy by implementing value streams, change management initiatives, and business transformation funnels.
  • Conduct "lessons-learned" sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear decision-making throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (an advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable).
  • Minimum of 9 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Proven track record of success within a regulated manufacturing environment, specifically Medical Device or Pharma.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business transformation and M&A integration.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, MS Office, and standard project management methodologies.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence partners and drive results in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • PMP certification is considered a strong plus.
