We drive CAPEX investments, pilot breakthrough technologies such as robotics, sensors, and water‑removal solutions, and solve complex cross-functional challenges. The Role & Your Impact As our new Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering capital investment projects that enable safe, efficient, and future-ready production facilities. You’ll work in a mixed strategic–tactical capacity: leading user groups, defining project scopes, driving execution, and ensuring operational readiness. Your key responsibilities include: Strategic definition & scoping: Drive URS, charters, and justification processes while securing alignment with GMP, EHS, and engineering standards. End-to-end project execution: Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination of cross-functional teams and external contractors. Technical leadership: Steer the Technology Development Plan (TDP) process, maturing technical inputs and verifying business cases. Operational readiness: Lead commissioning, cleaning verification, and product qualification to ensure a seamless and compliant handover. Control & governance: Track project performance across scope, schedule, cost, and quality while driving risk mitigation and transparent reporting. Stakeholder management: Serve as the key link between construction, quality, and production teams. What You’ll Need to Be Successful A B.Sc. in chemical or processing engineering (or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in a pharma or food manufacturing environment. Proven success as a User Manager (UM) in investment projects. Strong interest or experience with production equipment. Solid project management and communication skills. Good English skills (oral and written). Furthermore: You collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization, building strong relationships to ensure progress and alignment. You navigate stakeholder needs with ease, communicating clearly and managing expectations proactively. You adapt quickly to new information, changing priorities, and evolving project landscapes. You bring a curious mindset, continuously seeking to understand, improve, and explore new possibilities. Additional Skills & Interests We Value These are not required but will strengthen your profile: Experience with process design, capacity expansion, or new plant installations. Technical insight into robotics, sensors, or production technology. Experience leading both small-scale and large-scale CAPEX projects. Responsibilities
The Project Manager will lead capital investment projects to ensure production facilities are safe, efficient, and future-ready, involving strategic definition, end-to-end execution, and ensuring operational readiness through commissioning and qualification. Key duties include driving scope definition, managing budgets and schedules, steering technical development plans, and maintaining control and governance over project performance.
