Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic projects, including project planning, stakeholder management, and resource negotiation, to support the overall objectives of NSW Trustee and Guardian.
The position requires a commitment to service delivery and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Develop and manage a range of strategic projects to deliver initiatives to NSW Trustee and Guardian. Manage and oversee all aspects of project implementation, including developing business cases, preparing project plans, identifying and coordinating resources, developing and managing budgets, and negotiating reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a range of collaborative networks across NSW Trustee and Guardian to support the delivery of projects and provide feedback on the implementation process.
  • Negotiate contracts and coordinate the work performed by externally sourced providers, to ensure that services are provided in accordance with agreed quality standards, budget and timeframes.
  • Provide high level strategic advice and support to the project team on the development, implementation, management and reporting of projects to ensure executive staff are fully briefed on the status of projects.
  • Contribute to the professional development of project team members by providing leadership, management and coaching where relevant.
  • Prepare a range of strategic and operational documents as required, including briefing papers, discussion papers, reports, submissions and responses to information requests.
  • Lead the development of project management methodologies and processes across NSW Trustee and Guardian.
