Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Nuclear
Location: 889 Brock Road, Pickering, ON (100% onsite)
Duration: 24 Months

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects within a nuclear generating facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management principles, engineering and construction management, and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated professional capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Knowledge of project management principles, including the five project phases (Identification, Initiation, Definition, Execution, Closeout). Understanding of economics and business principles for cost estimates and forecasts.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the nuclear sector preferred.
  • Strong project management experience including project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution.
  • Familiarity with equipment and processes in generating stations or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracting, construction methods, codes, standards, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
  • Certifications: PMP and/or P.Eng preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
