Senior Project Manager - Birmingham - 1 Day a Week in Office - Enterprise SaaS - £70,000-£80,000The Role

An established B2B SaaS company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex enterprise software implementations for global customers in highly regulated industries.

You'll manage 5-8 month implementation programmes, typically running 2 concurrent projects, with budgets of £200,000-£400,000. From initiation through to delivery, you'll own project governance, plans, RAID, change control, resources and commercial performance.

As the senior delivery lead, you'll work closely with enterprise clients and C-suite stakeholders, chair steering committees and confidently manage challenging conversations to ensure successful outcomes.

You'll also collaborate with Implementation, Customer Success and Technical teams across multiple workstreams, while building strong, long-term client relationships.

Requirements

Around 10+ years' experience in project management
Proven track record delivering enterprise software implementation projects
Previous experience within a SaaS or B2B software environment
Experience managing implementation project budgets of £200,000-£400,000
Strong customer-facing experience managing enterprise and global clients throughout the full project lifecycle
Experience chairing steering committees and engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
Excellent project governance skills, including project planning, RAID management, change control, forecasting and resource planning
Experience delivering projects within regulated industries, such as Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals or Manufacturing
PRINCE2, PMP, APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification

Desirable Experience

Knowledge of GxP validation or validated system implementations
Experience delivering global software rollouts across multiple sites
Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing project financials, budgets and contract scope

Their customer base includes major global manufacturers and life sciences businesses, with implementation programmes delivered across international teams.

The Project Management function is a close-knit team of four experienced Project Managers, with two focused specifically on implementation programmes. Collaboration is a key part of the culture, with the team coming together in the office once a week for planning, knowledge sharing and stakeholder meetings, while the remainder of the week can be worked remotely.
