Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex port and marine infrastructure projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale maritime projects while managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and resources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of ports and marine operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Direct end-to-end project delivery for ports and marine infrastructure initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies using industry-standard project management tools Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through proactive analysis and contingency planning Manage stakeholder communications and expectations across multiple organizational levels and external partners Oversee contract negotiations, vendor management, and procurement activities in compliance with organizational policies Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve project objectives Monitor project performance metrics and prepare comprehensive status reports for senior leadership Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and local regulatory requirements specific to UAE operations Coordinate with engineering, operations, and technical teams to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned to enhance future project delivery Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Minimum 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in ports, marine, or maritime infrastructure projects Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) Demonstrated expertise in budget management, resource planning, and schedule optimization Strong knowledge of maritime industry operations, port facilities, and marine engineering principles Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms) Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience managing projects in the Middle East region Familiarity with marine terminal operations and cargo handling systems Experience with design-build or engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project delivery models Advanced certifications in risk management or specialized maritime project management Additional Information Degree in Civil engineering Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Structures Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Engineering Management
