QBE is seeking a Senior Project Manager in support of the U.S. Navy’s PEO IWS-X initiative. to oversee the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) development cycle and leads program management activities across all subtasks. This includes overseeing KVM-based virtualization, system security integration, and the F127 Combat System Compute Infrastructure (CI) and providing project management leadership for Anti-Tamper (AT) measures across the system lifecycle, including design, integration, and testing. The Senior Project Manager must possess exceptional analytical and organizational skills to manage schedules, task execution, and deliverables while tracking critical path items and mitigating risks. While involved across operations and project delivery, this role focuses on stakeholder engagement and liaising with the government, other contractors, customers, and program offices. Therefore, this role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate with stakeholders, including U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners, to ensure alignment with program goals and compliance with U.S. Government (USG) export control regulations. Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, integrating them into the master schedule and tracking critical path items. Lead task execution related to KVM virtualization, system security prototypes, and F127 CI design agent activities. Identify schedule risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Coordinate with PEO IWS, AEGIS Tech Rep, LM RMS, and foreign partners to align program objectives and delivery timelines. Monitor project performance, provide regular updates to leadership, and ensure compliance with USG export control laws. Verify technical data and training materials are complete and accurate prior to version closeout. #qg #qf Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, liberal arts, or related field; master’s degree preferred. PMP certification required. Must be able to commute to the Dahlgren, VA area on a daily basis. 10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in defense or FMS programs. Experience managing KVM virtualization, system security integration, and combat system infrastructure. Familiarity with export control regulations and FMS compliance. Skills: Excellent analytical and logical thinking abilities to manage complex schedules and risks Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Primavera). Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Background in virtualization, hardware systems, or software development is highly desirable. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
