Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description The Senior Project Manager shall have responsibility for supporting the Delivery Director in the overall execution of the projects delivery, bringing the necessary project management skills and experience that will integrate with the existing Project Team to ensure that the Directorate team plans, tracks and delivers against the programme and budget. The role holder will provide support in the management of significant work packages/ elements of project to the defined time, cost, quality and outputs' benefits, including the coordination of the activities of all functions in relation to the delivery of major project within the timeline and costs as set out in the Preliminary Business Case. The Senior Project Manager shall provide project management support in regards the following key activities; The Senior Project Manager shall provide project management support in relation to the procurement of the Core Contracts, assisting with the completion of the Reference Design and all related documentation, the development and coordination of relevant inputs into the production of the procurement documents. and procurement process. Leading into the preferred tender stage and thereafter into the construction delivery. Experience 10+ years' project management experience with a proven track record of carrying out project management activities in high value transportation projects or other infrastructure projects of a similar scale and complexity. Prior experience of cost management for multiple projects and/or programmes and developing standard operating procedures Tangible experience of driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards.
