This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, multi-site projects in the building automation and technology space, delivering solutions that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and quality objectives, while collaborating with sales, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This position requires managing projects ranging from $500K to $15M in revenue, with responsibilities spanning pre-bid planning through customer acceptance. You will also mentor team members, drive value engineering, and leverage advanced building automation system tools to optimize project outcomes. Travel up to 30% may be required, offering exposure to diverse sites and project environments. Accountabilities: Lead and manage building automation projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to schedules and budgets. Participate in pre-bid and sales-to-operations turnover meetings, contributing to project planning and estimate accuracy. Maintain project correspondence, documentation, and change orders with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate field activities, project plans, schedules, timelines, and costs to complete estimates. Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with safety, building, electrical, and mechanical codes, as well as company and industry standards. Engage with customers to optimize their experience with project solutions and systems. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the project delivery team. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in senior technical roles. 8+ years of project management experience in the building automation or related industry. 10+ years of experience with building automation systems, including Niagara Framework, LonWorks, and BACnet. Strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and lighting control systems. Experience with multi-site project delivery and managing large project budgets ($500K–$15M). Proficiency with project management software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and scheduling/planning tools. Excellent business acumen, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of performance contracting, energy management, and contract management a plus. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to a vehicle. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time and possess a valid passport for sensitive projects. Competitive salary range: $83,300 to $149,900 per year, based on experience and location.
