MTS Health, part of the Sodexo Health and Care have a brand-new amazing opportunity for a Senior Project Manager; the role is based out of our Hemel Hempstead office. MTS Health are one of the UK’s leading providers of Clinical Technology Management through their Operational Services and Equipment Advisory Teams. They have been delivering services to the NHS and Private Sector for over 25 years; here you will work with a specialist team of Bio-Medical Engineers, Clinical Scientists; MCIPS Qualified Procurement specialists; PRINCE 2 trained Project Managers and Construction Project Management Interface personnel.
MTS has seen recent significant growth and as a result have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Senior Project Manager. The role is within the Equipment Advisory Team, an area of which they are market-leaders. MTS support the healthcare services at the forefront of business case planning, procurement, delivery and installation of equipment.
This amazing opportunity will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects from initiation to completion. It will offer and require a flexible working arrangement, combining time at the Hemel office, client sites, and remote work. This will include some nationwide travel.
This role is ideal for an experienced Healthcare Project Manager. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication and leadership skills, preferably with a strong understanding of NHS procurement processes and a high level of commercial awareness.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee redevelopment and new hospital equipping projects, managing multiple projects and conflicting deadlines to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, provide status updates, and facilitate discussions to extract necessary information for project progress.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, relaying updates, addressing queries, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Develop, monitor, and report on project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and governance requirements.
- Identify equipment requirements, advise on specifications, and engage suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement and compliance with governance standards.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues while adhering to Quality Assurance standards (ISO9001-2015) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage logistics and commissioning plans, coordinating multiple vendors within tight timeframes to achieve project outcomes.
- Review and develop equipment replacement, lifecycle, and maintenance strategies, supporting advisory projects with operational insights.
- Ensure adherence to Trust governance arrangements, including Tender limits, risk registers, and budgetary controls, while maintaining thorough documentation.
