Job Overview:
SoftClouds LLC is looking for Senior Project Manager to own and deliver the project on schedule within budget. This role covers all aspects of project management from project planning, tracking, and reporting to interacting with Clients and SoftClouds project teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Be a strong advocate for Project in a dynamic environment with many competing projects and priorities.
  • You should own and deliver the project on schedule and within budget reporting to Practice Director and Delivery Executives.
  • You would work with Onshore and Offshore technical managers to ensure proper resource alignment.
  • Provide hands-on project leadership during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post- implementation phases of customer projects.
  • Learn proven techniques to run project meetings, publish meeting notes and action items, to create and to maintain timelines, and to keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
  • Work with Technical managers, project leads for Project Milestones tracking and management activities.
  • Work with SoftClouds and customer teams to understand business requirements and be a main custodian of all project artifacts.
  • Conduct Fit-Gap session and be a liaison between the customer and the project team for common consensus.
  • Control the scope and follow the strong change-control process through the project.
  • Ensure Project Team members submit time log on time to review and approve or reject for corrections.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly status reports and other communications to customers and act as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for requests for information and support.
  • Track and perform Weekly / Bi-weekly / Monthly Project Budget Tracker analysis, providing enabling adjustments to achieve desired profitability and outcome.
  • Review / revise existing processes, procedures, work methods and identify concrete improvements to operational effectiveness and accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in managing projects with at least one full lifecycle implementation in the role of Project Manager and/or SCRUM Master.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with hands-on project planning, execution, and management with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, and management of client satisfaction.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with industry standard SDLC based methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid Waterfall/Agile approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all Organizational levels. Ability to communicate technical topics/issues clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in planning, execution, and management of Big Bang, Incremental and/or Phased releases, with at least 5 different projects analyzing, producing, and managing a release plan.
  • Experience in planning, execution, and management of post Go Live production support, with at least 2 different projects managing post-go live production support, the team, and the processes.
  • Experience in managing projects and teams across global locations and engaging via phone and/or text chat with clients and/or SoftClouds’ team members during non-office hours.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
  • Experience and familiarity with standard project management tools (MS Project, Visio, and Excel).

Nice to have Skills and Experience:

  • Certified SAFe 5 Practitioner /Certified Scrum Master® (CSM®) / PMP certifications.
  • Background and prior experience managing teams as a Business Analyst, Functional or Technical Consultant, and/or Quality
  • Strong working knowledge of management information systems, networks, database, and software applications. Hands-on experience in these areas is a definite plus. Highly organized engineers would also be considered.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in performing and/or managing teams delivering Organizational Change Management.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or business administration field required.
