QTC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive the delivery of our Technology Operating Model Transformation. This is a unique opportunity to join our PMO on an 18-month contract and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Data and Technology Strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with:

  • Proven experience delivering IT Operating Model and Service Management uplift projects
  • Strong knowledge of platform-based teams and ITSM processes
  • Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Solid foundation in project management, business analysis, and change management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or related discipline
  • Project Management certifications (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management (desirable)
  • Experience managing outsourced delivery partnerships
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and hybrid delivery approaches
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead the transition from our current technology operating model to a future-focused, service-oriented structure. You’ll manage multiple workstreams including:

  • Transforming ways of working and team structures
  • Redefining roles, responsibilities, and change processes
  • Uplifting service management and governance frameworks
  • Enhancing reporting and decision-making capabilities

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across QTC to ensure seamless delivery, adoption, and integration of new practices into business-as-usual operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes aligned with QTC’s strategic goals
  • Manage risks, budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and documentation of user stories, requirements, and test cases
  • Ensure effective transition of new services and practices into BAU
