Our team in the Waikato have strong personal and project connections in the community and a depth of experience across regional projects including education, commercial, and land development. We’re proud of our track record to date and excited about the future -we have a committed pipeline of work and a growing presence in Hamilton and beyond.
We’re now looking for a team player to take on this key role, working closely alongside the Waikato Lead and supported by the rest of the local team. With a busy pipeline of work, you’ll get great exposure to a diverse range of project types and stakeholders. While you’ll have a truly local focus, you’ll be part of a much larger national business, where we put a strong emphasis on looking after our people and helping grow their careers.
Our vision is to be the best and most trusted project specialists in Aotearoa. Whether you’re a local looking for a fresh opportunity, or if you’re relocating to the region, we’d love to hear from you.

HERE’S WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Prove to us you’ve ‘got this’ as the safe pair of hands for owning project outcomes.
  • You are a trusted advisor to your clients - they have your ear at all times.
  • A willingness to lead by example, so the next generation of project managers learn from you.
  • An understanding of the power of a good team culture and how to support that.
  • A professional attitude that wins the respect of clients.

YOUR EXPERIENCE NEEDS TO INCLUDE:

  • 6+ years’ previous Project/construction management experience, some of which will have been in a Consultancy environment.
  • A range of experience across different project types and phases, including exposure to design management and contract management. This would ideally include base build, commercial development and/or civil projects in the NZ market.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Build Science, Construction PM, Engineering or Property.
  • Strong leadership coordinating design and technical teams.
  • The proven ability to challenge concepts, resolve problems and provide solutions
  • Detailed knowledge and the preparation of robust contract documents, correspondence and reporting. Demonstrable experience with NZS3910 contracts acting as Engineer’s Representative or Contract Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of relevant New Zealand building regulations and legislation and a strong focus on health and safety
  • End to end ownership, the project’s not done until you’re satisfied and proud of your client’s feedback.
