Job Description

  • Managing construction projects.
  • Responsible for managing the team and driving growth in the respective sector.
  • Responsible for the planning, financial and budgeting aspects.
  • Manage and report the assigned program of work to achieve program objectives in accordance with corporate policy and contractual agreements.
  • Manage and anticipate project changes, adjusting plans and activities accordingly.
  • Oversee and monitor key milestones for the project through regular project reviews and analysis of potential risks to ensure delivery of program objectives.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align and agree program of work and anticipate changes that may impact the program of work.
  • Manage performance, compliance and expectations of resources and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field or Project Management.
  • Ambitious and able to drive outcomes
  • Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to client
  • Has existing relationships within the Canberra market, particularly the with private developers, asset managers and investment firms.
  • Experience in managing projects in the Government, Education and Health sector.
