Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description Our team is looking for a senior project manager to support a mix of Commercial/Education/Government technical building services projects: Deliver Project Management Commissions, driving end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to multiple concurrent technically complex projects. To act as the key, day to day client interface, supporting client project objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. Manage all aspects of the project and both the internal team and consultant team to deliver quality outputs on time. Support commissions, cashflows, budgets plus assist with resourcing and superintendent recommendations. To manage projects as they are identified, assessed, planned, and then taken through the preliminary design, detailed design, tender, construction and close out phases To manage projects as they are identified, assessed, planned, and then taken through the preliminary design, detailed design, tender, construction and close out phases. To work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Consultants to develop budgets, will manage complex stakeholder arrangements, manage and assess tenders, administer contracts as superintendent, co-ordinate contractors and consultants, and will take ownership of the aspects of projects To support and work on the end-to-end service delivery of complex and interesting asset replacement / upgrade projects in existing buildings. Our team are uniquely skilled and support our clients through the process of identifying, assessing feasibility of, designing, and delivering these technical upgrade/CAPEX projects. Our unique value proposition means we have a key focus on energy efficiency, safety and modernisation of buildings, enabling us to assist with delivering on Net Zero objectives. Typical projects are vital to existing building operations, and can include Electrical Switchboards, UPS, HVAC – chillers, boilers, AHUs, VSDs, Controls, Fire Protection and Detection, Hydraulic, and Security upgrades, replacements and installations. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in building/technical services. Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting. Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems. Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments. Demonstrated experience in risk identification and management / mitigate for construction programs and mission critical systems. Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical/mechanical) is required, or substantial, demonstrable industry experience in a relevant technical field.
