Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex, large-scale construction projects. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for planning and executing multi-million-dollar developments, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and mentoring junior team members. You will help shape Vasto’s project delivery standards while driving quality, safety, and sustainability across every build.
This position is ideal for a senior construction professional who thrives on responsibility, strategic thinking, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction and permitting to completion and handover.
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and strategies, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Manage contracts, negotiate with vendors and subcontractors, and oversee procurement.
  • Apply sustainable building practices including mass timber, modular construction, and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Utilize BIM and other project management tools to coordinate consultants, site staff, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior project managers, site superintendents, and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership with updates on project progress, risks, and financial performance.
