Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Water, Wastewater and Conveyance team in Burnaby, BC, at the heart of Metro Vancouver. Manage multimillion-dollar water, wastewater and conveyance projects that protect communities and the environment. Be the connector—collaborate with municipalities, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams to bring big ideas to life. Own the vision—guide projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence and sustainable outcomes. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering + 12 years of relevant experience in civil or municipal engineering Experience in planning, design, construction inspection, and contract administration for municipal water/wastewater related projects P.Eng with EGBC or the ability to obtain registration within 18 months Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years leading design and project management for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure Strong experience in proposal writing and job scoping Familiarity with BIM, CAD, and hydraulic modelling platforms Contract Administration certification (MMCD, CCDC, etc.) Excellent technical writing skills and strong attention to detail Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
