Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for a full-time position based in our Winnipeg office. The candidate for this position will work on all phases of municipal infrastructure projects including planning, feasibility, design and construction with a focus on water and wastewater. The appropriately qualified candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects and/or water and wastewater infrastructure projects. They will be expected to regularly meet with clients, manage and deliver client requests, lead multi-disciplinary teams, maintain scope and schedule, deliver quality design compliant with local standards and specifications, and communicate with stakeholders effectively. The responsibilities of this position include: Lead a high-performing team delivering complex, multidisciplinary municipal infrastructure projects. Oversee project management, administration, and performance across scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Develop expertise in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure and delivery models. Build strong client and stakeholder relationships through clear, proactive communication. Collaborate closely with discipline leads to guide design delivery and risk management. Review and approve project plans, technical reports, designs, and tender documents. Support project reviews, mentor project managers, and provide technical leadership. Ensure coordination across disciplines, quality control of deliverables, and site engagement through design and construction. Contribute to proposal development and business growth initiatives. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil preferred) and 8+ years of related experience specifically as a Project Manager in design and construction of municipal infrastructure projects or other multi-disciplinary projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications 15+ years of related experience specifically in multi-disciplinary projects and design/construction of municipal water and wastewater treatment and pumping projects. Registered as a P.Eng. in the province of Manitoba, or ability to register within 6 months Previous Project Management experience overseeing and coordinating all technical aspects of capital works projects over $20 Million CAD. Experience leading people in multi-disciplinary teams. Experience interacting with clients and being a trusted advisor. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as effective report writing.
