Job Description Job Description: RESPEC, seeks a Water Resource Senior Project Manager in our Water market sector, located in Denver, CO. As a Senior Project Manager you will be involved with all forms of planning, design, and specialty services related to the stormwater and water resources engineering field. Projects often involve hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analyses, detention/water quality BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, stormwater management plans, MS4 compliance, and water rights. The ideal candidate will have project engineering management experience and be eager to mentor and develop junior engineers. We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field A minimum of 15 years of experience in stormwater engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire, and have experience in providing engineering services the state Practical application of various H&H software, including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and XPSWMM At least 5 years of experience in the following: Managing teams of engineers to provide stormwater engineering services Mentoring and leading junior engineers in technical and non-technical aspects of stormwater engineering Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in the following: Business development and client management Developing and guiding construction plan packages and/or master planning studies Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Letters of Map Change (LOMC) and floodplain mapping AutoCAD and GIS Construction oversight of stormwater project installations Additional Information Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
