Job Description Senior Project Manager role leading the delivery of transformative projects across the built environment through all stages of the delivery lifecycle from feasibility and design through to construction and contract administration, and project hand over. In this role, you will be a key part of the local tight knit Wellington team, providing hands on project management and delivery support, with the support and technical input from AECOM industry leaders i throughout New Zealand and globally. You will gain broad project exposure working across projects of different size, scope, industry and client types, making a difference across the region. Key role requirements include: Lead and manage multiple complex projects for a diverse range of clients, ensuring successful and consistent delivery. Provide client-side project management support across all project stages — from feasibility and design to construction and contract administration. Work with, mentor, and provide direction to others supporting project delivery within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment. Work with a global organisation committed to delivering innovative, client-focused solutions on buildings and places projects that make a real impact. Proactively support and build client relationships, as a trusted advisor, dealing with queries related to project delivery with support from technical experts. Qualifications You will be an experienced Project Manager known for your ability to juggle multiple projects through project stages. You will be known for your delivery focus, problem-solving ability and client focus. The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, however if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time, on budget, and within client requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, or a related project management qualification, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in project delivery. Strong experience in contract administration, stakeholder management, and working collaboratively with different engineering and design disciplines. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, timeframes, and OH&S best practices, with a strong commitment to safety. Client relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships as a trusted adviser. A working knowledge of New Zealand construction standards and regulations is an advantage.
