SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT:

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager, Workforce Management for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Victoria, British Columbia office.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves implementing a new organization-wide Workforce Management system with employee self-serve functions, including Occupational Health and Safety and core HR capabilities. The Senior Project Manager will represent the client’s interests, coordinating with the selected vendor and multiple departments to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the system.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Proven experience with large-scale Workforce Management System rollouts
  • More than ten years on IT projects
  • More than five years as a Senior Project Manager
  • Experience with SaaS HR and/or OHS/Disability Management projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
  • Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience in municipal government projects

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with implementing HR cloud solutions
  • Knowledge of Records Management Protocols
  • Familiarity with Procurement Protocols
  • Experience in Organizational Change Management strategies
Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate project implementation
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Occupational Health and Safety, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Develop project charters, master plans, and risk management strategies
  • Oversee budgeting, resource management, and scheduling
  • Communicate project status to senior executives and stakeholders
