  • Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $125,693 - $138,510 plus super and annual leave loading
  • Full time, temporary until 31 December 2025
  • 35 hour working week, in a hybrid working environment (3 days in office in St Leonards)

ROLE 1 RESPONSIBILITIES - SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER, KRUK REVIEW PROJECT TEAM

This is an extremely rare opportunity to deliver significant reforms recommended by the Kruk Review, relevant to the regulatory settings for internationally qualified health practitioners in Australia. Our team is part of a national group of project leads supporting implementation of the Kruk review.
This is a pivotal role for a dynamic individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to drive individual projects towards significant outcomes, such as development of resources to support overseas practitioners (Recommendation 8) and developing indicators and benchmarks for monitoring progress of reforms (Recommendation 20).
In addition, you will contribute to the project management and reporting functions, stakeholder management and collaboration. Key stakeholders in the projects will include the Commonwealth, state and territory health departments, AHPRA and National Boards, medical colleges and professional bodies in the health sector.

ROLE 2 RESPONSIBILITIES - SENIOR POLICY OFFICER, HEALTH WORKFORCE TASKFORCE SECRETARIAT

The Health Workforce Taskforce leads national health ministers’ workforce priorities and is Chaired by the Secretary NSW Ministry of Health. You will support the business of the Taskforce and its committees including agendas, meetings papers, minutes and provide support to members, maintain financial and project reports, draft briefings and policy papers, assist with Taskforce projects across the Workforce Reform team and represent the Taskforce.
