About the role: As a Senior Project Officer, you will manage a small team in coordinating the administration of SafeWork NSW’s Enforceable Undertakings Program including support for the assessment of applications for the program, their determination and evaluation of project strategies delivered under the program that support SafeWork NSW’s strategic objectives. About You: We’re seeking a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, confidently manages complex projects, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and effectively solves challenging regulatory issues. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Strong project management expertise, including planning, coordination, and delivery of complex initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, assess risks, and develop practical solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and influence diverse stakeholders. Experience managing budgets, resources, and contracts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, negotiate outcomes, and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrated an ability to maximise business outcomes by developing a high performing culture through coaching and mentoring of team members and enabling behaviours aligned with SafeWork NSW values.
