KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience managing workplace concerns and uplifting policies and practices to address concerns in a consistent and holistic manner.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or work experience. Psychology, social work or another field that providing a solid base for resolving workplace concerns is desirable.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of Senior Project Officer will support the establishment and pilot of a new Respectful Workplace Support Team to embed Legal Aid NSW as a respectful workplace, and to support Legal Aid NSW staff and managers resolve workplace conflict and culture issues.
This role will offer senior project and other support to the Respectful Workplace Support Team. This includes providing advice, guidance and support to staff and managers, facilitating the resolution of culture and conflict issues in the workplace, and driving positive change through workshops, training, uplifting policies and procedures, and other proactive measures.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

You must:

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
  • hold an Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
