We’re looking for two experienced Senior Project Officers to join the councils high-performing Transformation Team within the Outcomes Service Area at North Lincolnshire Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver some of the most complex, high-impact projects within the organisation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Project Officer, you’ll take a leading role in delivering innovative and complex transformation programmes aligned to corporate priorities. You’ll work closely with service areas, senior leaders, and partners to:

• Coordinate and manage a wide range of change projects – from discovery through to implementation and embedding into business-as-usual.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and detailed project documentation.
• Use insight and data to drive decisions, track benefits, and continuously improve outcomes.
• Supervise and guide Project Support Officers, ensuring successful delivery and project discipline.
• Deliver stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for projects.
• Help shape the future of service delivery across the council.

THE ROLE OFFERS:

• Pay: £18.72 per hour
• Contract: Up to 12 months
• Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday (9am–5pm)
• Location: Based in Scunthorpe, with flexible and hybrid working (up to 2 days in-office per week)
