Responsibilities Lead and manage a project safety and health team to uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with the corporate standards, statutory requirements and industrial best practices Monitor the contractors in achieving safety and health standards Identify and mitigate safety risks according to the Project Integrated Management System requirements Oversee the execution of safety promotion activities to enhance safety awareness and safety culture of staff and contractors Prepare regular safety reports to keep management informed of safety performance Lead investigations into accidents to identify causes as well as making recommendations for improvement Requirements Degree in Safety Management / Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in safety gained in railway projects or construction industry Possession of the qualification as Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred Intensive knowledge of railway safety as well as design for safety and constructability Able to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese Remarks Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms Applications You are invited to apply online via https://careers.mtr.com.hk/careersection/mtr_external/joblist.ftl?lang=en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
