SUMMARY

The Senior Project Specialist is responsible for managing complex logistics and transportation projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to customers. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. The Senior Project Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are completed within budget and timelines.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND / WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

For this position, the expected base pay is: $64,000 - $86,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (IF ANY)

  • May supervise project team members or provide guidance to junior staff members
