Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead cost management initiatives on complex, innovative construction projects while providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams. As a Senior Project Surveyor, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional value through comprehensive cost analysis, risk assessment, and project oversight on some of the region's most ambitious infrastructure and commercial developments. Lead and manage the full spectrum of cost management services, including pre-contract estimating, procurement strategy, contract administration, cost reporting, and final account resolution Provide strategic cost, value, and risk advisory to clients and design teams, ensuring informed decision-making throughout project lifecycles Oversee project budgets and financial performance, analyzing variances and implementing corrective measures to maintain cost control and project profitability Develop and maintain strong, reciprocal relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members, serving as the primary interface for cost management matters Lead, mentor, and support Project Surveyors, graduates, and apprentices, fostering a culture of professional development and continuous improvement Utilize advanced digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools to deliver accurate, timely cost management outputs Ensure all cost management deliverables meet agreed timescales and quality standards, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout project delivery Analyze and advise on project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost optimization strategies Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under own initiative Stay current with UAE construction standards, regulations, and industry best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or related discipline Professional qualification and chartered status with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent recognized institution Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in cost management within a consulting environment Proven expertise in delivering comprehensive cost management services across pre-contract, contract administration, and post-contract phases Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
