Job Description
AECOM are looking for a site based Senior Project Surveyor who will undertake delivery of projects across the full spectrum of cost management activities under minimal direction and while managing a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Engineering, or another construction-related field.
  • Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS).

EXPERIENCE

  • 8-10 years post-graduate experience.
  • 4-5 years of experience in the Middle East.

Responsibilities
  • Specialized in Post-Contract Cost Consultancy services for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
  • Support clients across a portfolio of projects, ensuring smooth management and execution.
  • Manage a team delivering post-contract cost management services, including:
  • Payment certifications
  • Management and assessment of variations
  • Claim avoidance
  • Budget tracking
  • Cost reporting
  • Risk management
  • Negotiations and final account
  • Primary point of contact for clients on small and medium-sized projects.
  • Accountable for multiple deliverables across the lifecycle of various projects within an end market sector.
  • Brief the team on project scopes to ensure clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage resources across multiple projects, ensuring they remain within established budgets.
  • Responsible for delivering a variety of funder advisory services throughout project execution.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with established procedures.
  • Assist with benchmarking, data collection, and internal reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to support their development, including involvement in the graduate development programme.
  • Monitor and manage performance of direct reports to ensure project success and team growth.
