Job Description:  This position will report to the Survey Group Manager while working on multiple survey projects (boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topo, or construction). Responsible for managing complex land surveying projects from initial planning through final delivery. This role bridges the gap between field crews, design engineers, and clients, ensuring that all data—such as property boundaries and topographic features—is accurate and compliant with legal standards.  Duties: * Establish project priorities, schedules, and budgets. * Review, sign, and seal survey deliverables such as legal descriptions, boundary resolutions, and CAD drawings to ensure accuracy. * Serve in responsible charge of assigned survey projects, including final boundary determinations and compliance with applicable laws and standards. * Mentor, train, and provide technical oversight to junior surveyors, field crews, and technical staff. * Lead QA/QC processes for all deliverables. * Ensure compliance with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey standards in accordance with the National Society of Professional Surveyors. * Ensure defensible and legally sound survey decisions. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developers, and engineers to define project goals and provide status updates. * Use advanced software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and technology (e.g., GPS, LiDAR, or drones) to interpret complex spatial data. * Assist in proposal preparation and scope development. * This role can perform survey fieldwork as needed. Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): * Minimum Education: High school or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s in surveying/geomatics preferred. * Minimum of ten (10) years of Survey and Right-of-Way (ROW) experience  * Arizona Registered Professional Land Surveyor in good standing. Registration in CA, NV, IN, CO, TX is a plus. CFedS certification is desirable. * Mastery of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GIS systems. * Deep understanding of land laws, boundary recovery, and state-specific surveying regulations. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. * Ability to carry a minimum of 20 pounds.  * Ability to work out-of-town (on occasion assume 5-10% travel, mostly in-state).  * Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier.
