As part of this commitment, reporting to the Superintendent: Projects, you will be responsible for the effective management of a portfolio sustaining capital projects and subordinates on site to enable achievement of the budgeted capital projects portfolio, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment. This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off or 4 days on 3 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth. What You’ll Do: Conduct project management functions related to assigned capital projects in process plant and surface infrastructure environments. Prepare and distribute reports on relevant activities including project status, schedule and milestone achievement, and identification of barriers to timely goal completion. Prepare quality submissions for capital expenditure using appropriate templates, methodology and providing guidance and technical input into project scopes. Support the management of commercial arrangements and relationships between Gold Fields and suppliers. Manage the assigned portfolio of projects from initiation through design & execution to close-out. Maintain and improve safety standards during construction Manage the team and project stakeholders as required.   What You’ll Bring? An autonomous, driven, and safety conscious individual who is willing to share knowledge with others Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, or a related discipline Extensive displayed experience in mining, mechanical or civil operations in a similar role with good understanding of technologies and equipment Post graduate qualification in business or project management would be highly regarded Financial management experience including formulation and adherence to approved budget would be advantageous Project/cost management training would be an asset Demonstrated level of competency in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office and SAP       About Gold Fields At Gold Fields, we believe great leadership is grounded in empathy, respect, and growth.
