Eden is a growing firm, and we’re looking for a Senior Property Lawyer to join our conveyancing team at our Head Office in Bristol. You’ll bring your technical conveyancing experience and play a key role in mentoring and supervising our team of trainee and non-qualified conveyancers - helping shape the future of our legal talent while keeping quality and client care front and centre.

In a full time office based role, on any given day you could be doing one or all of these things:

  • Supervise, train and mentor non-qualified and trainee property lawyers handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion
  • Provide day to day technical support, coaching and development to non-qualified and trainee property lawyers
  • Perform file reviews and audits to maintain quality and compliance
  • Ensure all conveyancing work is carried out in compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal requirements
  • Support with caseloads during periods of absence or conflict of interest
  • Use the case management system effectively to record tasks and progress and contribute to its ongoing improvement
  • Manage deadlines and oversee the exchange and completion process
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, partners and other conveyancersDeliver KPIs that provide excellent customer service and satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS

All our teams work to exacting standards, and so we’re looking for friendly and diligent property lawyers with the following:

  • At least 4+ years PQE in residential conveyancing as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Proven ability to supervise and mentor non-qualified or trainee property lawyers
  • Evidence of recent CPD enhanced AML training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong affinity for digital technology
  • Experience and competency in sale, purchase, remortgage, transfer of equity, new build, shared ownership / equity and registered / unregistered property work
  • Experience of freehold and leasehold property transactions
