JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and committed Senior Property Manager to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing large portfolios of at least 500 units and will work closely with other property managers while supporting a team of building staff.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS NEEDED

  • Strong interpersonal & business communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Competence with office management software
  • Knowledge of financial reporting
  • 3 years of experience required
  • Proficiency in Buildium, Yardi or similar property management software

Responsibilities

Marketing: Keep properties occupied with qualified tenants through advertising, lead follow up, property showings for prospective tenants.
Tenant relations: Develop rental agreements, selects qualified tenants, collects deposits and rents, enforces terms of rental agreements, resolves tenant complaints, and oversees eviction proceedings if necessary.
Facilities management: Schedule maintenance and repairs, negotiates contracts with vendors, regularly inspects properties to ensure it is in good working order, quickly resolves emergency maintenance issues.
Financial reporting: Keep financial records from property operations, creates monthly financial reports for property owner.
Owner relations: Keep open dialogue with property owner on vacancies, tenants, building managers, physical condition of property, and financial issues.
