Senior Property Manager Job Description Responsibilities: - Lead a Property Management Sub Team, providing leadership, managerial direction, and personal encouragement to all team members. - Manage daily operations, maintenance, and performance of a property portfolio (residential, commercial, industrial), ensuring smooth functioning and operational excellence. - Oversee market vacancies, tenant selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and resolve complex tenant issues to ensure tenant satisfaction. - Source business for the company/division through client contact, networking, and general promotion of the company's services. - Undertake training and development of team members, promoting ongoing career paths within the company. - Provide guidance on all property management procedures to employees within the team. - Liaise with existing building owners regarding property management performance, utilizing tenant and client surveys for feedback. - Prepare agendas, record minutes, and convene and attend all Council meetings and Annual General Meetings. - Develop budgets and forecasts, monitor expenses, and report financial performance to stakeholders and owners. - Plan and execute capital improvements, renovations, and maintenance projects to enhance asset value. - Ensure adherence to regulations, industry standards, and establish safety and emergency procedures. - Implement strategic plans for property growth, operational efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. Requirements: - Degree or Diploma in Building/Real Estate Management or a related discipline. - Minimum 6 years of property management experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. - Experience in MCST work and knowledge of BMSMA is essential. - Mature, independent, and capable of leading a team. - Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. - Diligent, well-organized, and committed to excellence.
