ABOUT THE ROLE
School Infrastructure (SI) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
As a Senior Property Officer within the Acquisition & Divestment team, you will play a vital role in managing the state-wide property and accommodation portfolio to meet departmental deadlines, including the preparation of project briefs and scopes of work.
In addition to overseeing infrastructure acquisition and management, you will be responsible for analysing property market intelligence and coordinating team recommendations for the possible disposal, development, acquisition, leasing and licencing of property to gain maximum value for the department.
Ensuring commercial viability and fitness for purpose, your expertise in negotiating, instructing, drafting and briefing documentation will contribute to the seamless delivery of essential services for the diverse needs of the NSW education system.
