Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop realistic project schedules, factoring in technical complexity and constraints such as long lead-time.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure proposal meets safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier/Contractor Coordination: Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive proposals for materials, equipment and services. May require overseas travel for factory acceptance tests or business meetings (China, Japan, Korea, etc.).
  • Risk Management: Identify potential execution risks, hidden costs and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strategic Input: Assist in developing construction sequences and bid strategies under the guidance of seniors or the HOD.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Assist to liaise with internal teams such as operations, finance and senior management
  • Technical Evaluation: Develop feasible and cost-effective technical solutions based on single line diagrams and scope of work, ensuring alignment with project timelines and contract specifications.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documents for tender submissions, including BOQs, quotations, drawings, specifications, and clarifications.
  • Cost Optimization: Support in identifying cost-saving opportunities and conducting risk assessments within tenders.
  • Follow-through skills: Participate in post-tender presentations, interviews, and client clarifications, and assist with a complete and quality handover to the project team for successful (tender).

Job Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills.
  • Qualifications in Engineering. Electrical background is a plus but all backgrounds are welcome.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required to communicate effectively with certain stakeholders and partners who communicate only in Chinese.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
