ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer specializing in Solana and Rust to lead the expansion of our client’s products into the Solana ecosystem. This role requires strong Solana development expertise and proficiency in Rust, along with basic knowledge of Solidity and EVM-based protocols to help port and adapt existing solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of engineering experience, including 1+ year of hands-on development on Solana. You will be responsible for designing and implementing core protocol components, ensuring high security, efficiency, and seamless cross-chain interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of Solana-based programs and infrastructure for chain abstraction and cross-chain bridging.
• Port and adapt Solidity-based protocols to Solana, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Design and implement secure and scalable cross-chain solutions between EVM and Solana.
• Optimize smart contract architecture for high-performance execution on Solana.
• Collaborate with a team of backend engineers, including specialists in APIs, smart contracts, and distributed systems.
• Drive technical discussions on protocol upgrades, security improvements, and performance optimizations.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency in Solana applications, optimizing for production use.
• Document best practices for Solana-specific development to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
