General Background (Brief description of the national, sector-specific or other relevant context in which the individual contractor will operate) UNHCR Korea is considered one of the key markets for PSP with long growth potential to raise over $ 80 million in the years to come. In line with this strategy, UNHCR Korea set the Digital and Direct Response TV (DRTV) fundraising programme expansion as the most important growth driver bringing over 40% of PSP Korea’s acquisition revenue. However, Korea has become an increasingly competitive fundraising market with various Non-Profit Organizations investing heavily in digital and DRTV fundraising activities year by year. In response to market trends, UNHCR Korea has decided to strengthen content development capacity including creatives and campaigns as one of the essential strategies to achieve sustainable growth for the multi-channel acquisition. This new LICA5 position will assist the PSP IG Associate (Digital & Direct-Response TV Fundraising) to achieve this goal by supporting the development of digital and DRTV fundraising content to generate income, in addition to promoting strategies to reach a new audience through various Digital & TV media platforms/channels to expand its donor base. 2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment (Concise and detailed description of activities, tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken, including expected travel, if applicable) Digital and DRTV Fundraising Content Production and Management • Assist to maintain and manage UNHCR Korea’s Digital and DRTV fundraising content marketing strategy including its website, digital/social platforms, and TV media aligned with UNHCR Korea’s fundraising goals to acquire new donors. • Plan, produce and manage all types of Digital and DRTV fundraising content and campaigns, including digital paid ads creatives (e.g., display banners, video clips, search ad copies), DRTV advertising creatives, and collateral materials. • Develop and provide a Digital and DRTV fundraising content calendar on a regular basis in conjunction with the PSP Associate (Digital and DRTV FR) and manage and archive UNHCR Korea’s Digital and DRTV fundraising assets including photos, and videos. • Support other units with Digital and DRTV fundraising campaign where required. Digital and DRTV Fundraising Marketing • Assist to plan, develop, and execute Digital and DRTV fundraising strategies and annual plans. • Assist to implement all types of Digital and DRTV fundraising campaign activities including Display Advertising (DA) / Social media Advertising / Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/Traditional TV and cross-media marketing. • Assist to implement the donor Database API function maintenance and improvement, when the need arises Digital and DRTV Fundraising Performance Analysis & Reporting • Monitor performances of all Digital and DRTV fundraising activities as well as related market trends. • Provide performance analysis reports on Digital and DRTV fundraising content results regularly and on ad-hoc basis, when needs arise, utilizing analytic tools such as Google Analytics. • Develop and maintain a content database to provide data-driven marketing. Partnership and Supplier Management • Work with various partners, media agencies, and suppliers for Digital and DRTV programmes. • Support administrative tasks including procurement, vendor contracting, and payments. Perform other duties as required. 3. Monitoring and Progress Controls (Clear description of measurable outputs, milestones, key performance indicators and/or reporting requirements which will enable performance monitoring) The LICA will work for the UNHCR office under the direct supervision of PSP IG Associate (Digital & DRTV fundraising). 4. Qualifications and Experience (List the required education, work experience, expertise and competencies of the individual contractor. The listed education and experience should correspond with the level at which the contract is offered.) a. Education (Level and area of required and/or preferred education) - Completion of a university degree in marketing, advertising, or communication preferred (minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with high school diploma or minimum 1 year of experience for BA or higher) b. Work Experience (List the number of years and area of required work experience. Clearly distinguish between required experience and experience which could be an asset.) - Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience. Previous work experience as a Creative Director or Content manager or marketing/ad specialist in an online platform/media agency would be preferred. c. Key Competencies (Technical knowledge, skills, managerial competencies or other personal competencies relevant to the performance of the assignment. Clearly distinguish between required and desired competencies) - Experience in delivering digital/social content marketing campaigns; - Experience in fundraising or income generation by creative/campaign development; - Experience in producing digital/online content (e.g., online ad campaigns, images, videos, etc.). - Strong copywriting and editing skills - Knowledge of specific software including Microsoft Office software (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere); - Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Korean and English; - Interested in humanitarian activities and International organizations.
