Do you want to be part of developing a new integrative service for people living with long-term health conditions? Then come and join the team NHFT Talking Therapies - Health, the new branch of our Talking Therapies service. You will be working alongside like-minded colleagues and creating links with physical health staff and local communities.
We are looking for psychologists, CBT therapists and PWP’s to join us. There will be opportunities to work creatively and to network and collaborate across Northamptonshire’s physical health clinics and community services. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are committed to their own development and to building an holistic service for people living with long-term conditions. You will be offered support, supervision, and training to develop. Supporting staff to deliver Step 2 interventions within the Talking Therapies service
Providing high quality supervision, support and a focus on wellbeing for staff providing low intensity interventions within the service.
Offer expert clinical support and guidance to Step 2 staff
To have overall clinical responsibility for the delivery of Step 2 interventions
To ensure National Talking Therapies standards are met
To contribute to learning and development of step 2 low intensity workers and physical health professionals in mental health as it relates to long term health conditions.
To provide some clinical intervention at step 2 for people with long term health conditions and comorbid common mental health problems.
NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
